Cupcake Cuties Review & Giveaway – CLOSED

Over the last year, I have really gotten into baking; baking cakes and cupcakes are my two favorites but I also don’t mind whipping up a pie here and there or a pan of brownies. I have contemplated taking a cake decorating class but haven’t had the time to do it just yet so when I saw the decorating kits that Cupcake Cuties has to offer, I knew they would provide a simple solution to my boring cupcakes.

Cupcake Cuties offers 31 whimsical and upscale designs for many occasions including birthdays, weddings and holidays. The kits come complete with 24 easy-to use, self-adhesive sleeves and all the custom toppings to complete the designated cupcake design. Easy to follow instructions and pictures are included to make decorating quick, simple and easy; moms AND dads can do it. Cupcake Cuties also takes into considerable the health and well-being of their cupcake eaters by printing the sleeves with food safe ink and packaging the items in recyclable PET material; the packaging can double as an adorable gift box. And if you’re into making cupcakes with a different theme every month, you can join the Cupcake Cuties “Cupcake Cutie of the Month Club” and receive a different kit each month. Cupcake Cuites are easy as 1, 2, 3 and take your cupcake from ordinary to extraordinary!

I got the chance to decorate my plain yellow with chocolate frosting cupcakes with the Cupcake Cuties Football kit. After baking and frosting the cupcakes, Alan and I went to assembling the sleeves and inserting the cupcakes into them. You have the choice of trying to fit the sleeve around the cupcake prior to sticking the ends together with the adhesive strip OR you can assemble them first. We found that assembling them first was the easiest way to do it once we got the size correct. After that, we put the strips of the football on with the included white decorating icing and surrounded the outsides with the included green sprinkles! Quick and easy. You can see how my cupcakes turned out in the pictures; they aren’t the best and your first round may not come out perfect but that’s okay. With it being football season and living in a college town, these Football Cupcakes will make a great addition to any half time meal!
