Fight stains with Purex plus Oxi liquid detergent #Purex
I have always been a HUGE Purex fan and have been loving the opportunities I get as a Purex Insider to try out the latest and greatest Purex products. Recently, I had a box delivered to my home that housed one of the newest products from the wonderful company, Purex plus Oxi liquid detergent. I couldn’t wait to try it out and started to search through my dirty laundry specifically looking for clothing that could use some extra stain-fighting power!
Lo and behold, I found a teal shirt that had two greasy looking stains on it. My shirt had probably been sitting at the bottom of the laundry basket for a good 2 plus weeks, that’s no exaggeration, even though I do laundry at minimum once a week but I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the shirt and its stains, otherwise I would have treated the stains and washed it immediately after wearing it. The shirt is also a newer shirt purchased only about 3 months ago, so I was pretty upset when I found it considering how long it had been sitting. I thought to myself “there is NO WAY these stains are coming out of this shirt, no matter how much I pre-treat the areas.” I had never had luck in the past with getting food stains completely out of my shirts, even when I wash them that day. But I figured that this shirt and its stains would be a great test for Purex Plus Oxi!
I decided to pre-treat the area with Purex plus Oxi by putting a bit of the detergent onto the stains, rubbing it in and letting it sit for about 5 minutes; afterwards, into the wash load it went with my other clothes which also got treated to a nice bath in their newest laundry detergent. And then I sat and waited…and waited…while the washing machine ran! I seriously could not wait to pull my shirt out of the washer to see if the newest Purex product had worked on getting my 2+ weeks old stains out of my kind of new shirt. After the washer stopped, I started to transfer my clothing into the drier and check the shirt; I didn’t notice any stains but given that the shirt was damp, I figured they just blended in with the fabric, so into the drier it went and off to the couch I went to wait some more.
FINALLY, the drying part was done and I could FINALLY see the final product. The question was: did Purex plus Oxi work? The answer is YES, mostly! The stains on my shirt were definitely a lot less visible and most likely wouldn’t be noticable to anyone unless I pointed them out. I am almost certain that if I give the shirt another pre-treatment and spin through the washer, the stains would be gone. Purex plus Oxi definitely lived up to my standards of a great laundry detergent from a reputable company!
Purex plus Oxi is the newest stain-fighting liquid laundry detergent from Purex. It is the most powerful Purex detergent available because it works against over 101 different stains! Purex plus Oxi is unique because it contains three stain-fighting enzymes that each work against different types of stains for the most stain-fighting power you can get. It has been specially formulated to work in both high efficiency washers and traditional washing machines, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on this great product. Purex plus Oxi leaves your clothes bright, white, and clean for half the price of other leading brand liquid detergents.
Purex plus Oxi is great for those with allergies as it is hypoallergenic with only a light, fresh scent and perfect for everyday laundry or heavily soil loads! Purex plus Oxi also makes a great pretreater by simply pouring a little Purex plus Oxi onto the stain, rub stained fabric together and letting it sit for five minutes before putting in the washer. After allowing the pre-treated clothing to sit, simply toss into your normal laundry load as usual.

I usually treat my stains with prayers. Hubs works with oil, grease and chemicals so getting his work clothes relatively clean relies on praying to the Gods of Laundry!
