My household runs on everything technology. Between myself and Alan, we have a high-end laptop, two high-end gaming computers that can run the latest games on ultra settings, as well as various other gaming consoles and smart phones. To say that technology doesn’t run our lives would be a lie! Because we own computers that have cost a great deal in money to build, it’s always important to keep them running at the top of their game and keep them in the best conditions possible, so when I was asked to review System Mechanic 11 from iolo technologies, I said yes because who wouldn’t want to use the best products around to keep their most expensive purchases up to date and fresh?

System Mechanic is easy to install as you simply follow the on screen instructions. After the install, you will notice a widget on your desktop that allows you to monitor your PC health and status; double clicking on the monitor will open a box that will allow you to analyze your system for potential computer problems such as issues with the registry, system clutter caused by temporary internet files, internet configuration that causes slow speeds, and unwanted startup programs which can cause your computer to load slowly. You are given the option to repair the problems or startup the wizard so you can view what the problems are and decide if you want to repair them!
After my installation of System Mechanic, I promptly analyzed my computer and found that I had major registry problems and about 2 gigs worth of system clutter in the form of temporary files. My PC health monitor was in the red! I decided to use the repair & view problems option so that I could see where the problems were coming from, at which time I chose to repair the problems. After repairing the problems, my PC health jumped to yellow as I didn’t choose to repair EVERYTHING at once. So far, my PC seems to have sped up a bit especially in loading times. The program is EASY to use and navigate with the dashboard featuring drop down menus that allow you easy access to the types of maintenance you want to perform. So far, things seem to be running smoothly and I’ve run into no issues using System Mechanic!
