It’s been awhile!

Posted On Monday, March 12th, 2012 at 5:07 pm | Filed Under: Daily Happenings

It’s definitely been awhile since I showed Blissful Reviews some love. I’ve been busy with graduate school and a full time job as well as trying to fit in some “me” time by focusing on my health, but ya know…I miss reviewing and the community that I have grown to love. So with that, I plan to overhaul Blissful Reviews with a new theme/layout soon and get back into the grove of things; I may even be changing the name! I have a few products I’ve had the chance to try out over the last couple of months that I’ve bought on my own and also received, so I hope you’ll find something that tickles your fancy.

Issues.

Posted On Saturday, January 14th, 2012 at 11:28 am | Filed Under: Uncategorized

Now that I’ve gotten moved into the bigger apartment and have had cable & internet hooked up again, I’m able to get back to reviewing and giveaways! I’ve noticed that all the blog posts have “comments off” and I’m not exactly sure why, so I’m working on that issue. I have a couple of reviews coming up so I hope you’ll stick around to check them out.

Moving Day.

Posted On Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at 9:29 pm | Filed Under: Daily Happenings

What better way to start the new year with none other than a new home! Alan and I are transferring from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom within our complex this weekend. It’s been a long two years of living on top of each other, with our huge furniture, the additions of our mega computers and two dogs; we needed a bigger place. The rent isn’t that much higher and we gain an additional bedroom which will be used as an office, but did I mention that I absolutely LOATHE moving? Seriously, I hate it. I don’t really know ANYONE who really likes moving but I might be spoiled since I grew up a military brat and always had military packers that boxed and moved EVERYTHING. Man, I miss those days. When we get moved and settled in, I plan on taking some pictures of our setup. I’ve been surfing around Pinterest.com a lot lately – it’s highly dangerous! – and found multiple DIY projects I want to complete including some art. I hope to turn our two bedroom into an actual home this time.

Get in the Holiday Spirit with Zenni Optical

Posted On Thursday, December 22nd, 2011 at 8:30 pm | Filed Under: Uncategorized

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zenni Optical for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

2011 has been an interesting year for me and one of the things that made it interesting is that, after 25 years, I found out I need glasses. Or at least it was recommended that I wear glasses especially when I'm reading things at a distance. After I found out this news from my eye doctor, I began the search of finding the perfect pair of frames that complimented my face and was also modern and cool; I haven't had much luck until I started to browse through Zenni Optical's line of eyeglasses.

Zenni Optical offers a variety of cheap eyeglasses, so you're bound to find SOMETHING that suits your needs and tastes. With the holidays just around the corner, you're pretty much guaranteed to find a pair of frames that will look amazing with your holiday outfit and show off your holiday spirit; I mean just look at the awesome pair I found that features a Santa Claus face on them!

The particular frame above is only $12.95, which with only spending that much on some quality frames you'll have a whole lot of money left over to buy tons of gifts for your friends and family. I definitely recommend heading over to ZenniOpitcal.Com to search through their extensive line of eye wear. When you find something you love, leave a comment with the link to your favorite frame, you never know we might have the same tastes!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted On Thursday, November 24th, 2011 at 9:55 am | Filed Under: Uncategorized

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I will be spending the day with Alan, and my mom and brother who are coming over to our apartment to eat.

I haven’t been around much lately and in some ways, I have been taking a break from Blissful Reviews and reviewing. I am still taking on reviews but in a slower pace than before as it was becoming WAY too much. Don’t worry, I’ll still be posting reviews and hosting giveaways but it might just be a couple over a course of a few weeks versus back to back to back.

I do want to let you know what I’ve been up too! The second week of November, 6th – 13th, I was in the Bahamas at the amazing Atlantis on Paradise Island with Alan’s family: his dad, step-mother, step-brother and step-brother’s girlfriend. It was the greatest time I’ve had…ever and enjoyed it very much. Once, I get my photos uploaded to Flickr I will post them. Last week, when we returned Alan’s mother came into town from Michigan for the weekend which was nice as he hadn’t seen her in a year. And of course, today is Thanksgiving. So as you can see for the past month, I’ve been busy with vacations and family on top of working full time and finishing up my first semester of graduate school.

Life is going well right now and I hope everyone is doing great.
